Me llamaban de una empresa cuando un restaurante necesitaba ayuda.

A company would call me when a restaurant needed help.

Me pagaban siete euros la hora, lo cual me parecía bien.

They paid me seven euros an hour, which seemed fine to me.

Era el trabajo perfecto porque el horario era muy flexible.

It was the perfect job because the schedule was very flexible.

Al principio, trabajaba principalmente en grandes eventos de negocios.

At first, I worked mainly at large business events.

Tenía que pasear con una bandeja llena de comida y bebida.

I had to walk around with a tray full of food and drinks.

Después de la primera noche, mis brazos estaban muy cansados.

After the first night, my arms were very tired.

Carrying drinks is more dangerous because glass cups are very heavy.

Later, I started working at weddings held in a castle.

When I arrived, I was completely lost.

Tuve que aprenderme los números de las mesas de memoria.

I had to memorize the table numbers.

Fue una noche muy intensa, pero también muy divertida.

I was serving meat to a girl wearing a blue dress.

Suddenly, all the sauce from the plate fell on her dress.
